Blackburn intensify contact as player 'wants to try luck' in England – Rovers make first offer

Yesterday, it was reported that Blackburn Rovers are now initiating a move to sign Cesena striker Augustus Kargbo.
The move is now seemingly gathering pace and the Italian media is growing insistent on the potential transfer.
Corriere Romagna have reported today that Kargbo will leave the Italian club before the end of the ongoing January transfer window.
As of now, he 'wants to try his luck' in England and it is an indication that the Sierra Leone international is interested in a move to Blackburn Rovers.
The Championship side scouted the player during the recent Serie B clash against Cittadella and have already made contact to sign him, having attempted to bring him to Ewood Park in the summer.
Blackburn Rovers have made an offer of €800k, but that amount does not seem enough to close the deal. As of now, Cesena want around €1m to sell Kargbo, who didn’t come on in their last game against Sampdoria.
The report states the Lancashire club will have to seal the move by the 31st of January, because Cesena also want some time to sign a replacement.
