Diambars youth academy manager Alioune Touré has confirmed that youngster Yaya Diémé is set to join Chelsea in the near future.
Africa Foot have comments from the Diambars manager today in which he confirms everything is in place for the youngster to head to Chelsea.
A report this week explained that the highly rated youngster was in the final stages of being secured by BlueCo, who own both Chelsea and Strasbourg.
That report stated that the plan was for the 17-year-old to first head to Chelsea before bouncing between them and the French club before eventually joining Strasbourg on a permanent basis in January 2026 when he turns 18.
Africa Foot confirm that is the case, explaining that BlueCo have 'carefully planned' the youngster's future with the help of Diambars.
"We confirm Yaya Diémé’s training camp at Chelsea," Touré is quoted as saying.
! Yaya Diémé is one of our best talents at the moment. We have discussed and reached an agreement for him to join Chelsea.
"At 18, he will complete a one-month training camp in London with Chelsea before continuing his development in Strasbourg, France. Everything is in place."
What happens to Diémé after that point remains to be seen, but he won't be the first or last youngster to be stationed at Strasbourg by BlueCo, that's for sure.
They're very much using the French club as a staging ground for the talents they continue to scoop up around the world, either for Chelsea or to be sold for profit in future.
