Rumor-milling about
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia was the hottest name in the rumor mill not all that long ago, but in case you have forgotten about him, the rumor mill is here to remind you that he indeed still living and breathing and playing well for Napoli.
As per The Athletic, the 23-year-old is on all sort of shortlists of "potential targets" around the world of football — including Chelsea's — and that might mean that teams like Liverpool (The Athletic's pick) and PSG (Fabrizio Romano's pick) and maybe Chelsea (throwaway mention) "could consider" an approach "should it be decided that he is to exit the club in this transfer window".
So that's not exactly strong, but the Georgia international will have just two years left on his contract at the end of the season and apparently so far there's been no "movement" on a potential new deal. So Mr. Agent's throwing up that bat signal ever brighter.
Kvaratskhelia will undoubtedly command a massive fee (though under €100m maybe?), so this may not be our greatest opportunity-game here, but he's scored double-digit goals in both of his Napoli seasons so far (and is also on pace to do so this year under Antonio Conte), and that would be nice to have.
Napoli's formal request for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia remains around €80m package.
