The Spireites make the short journey into South Yorkshire to the Eco-Power Stadium, looking to return to winning ways after two frustrating results against Port Vale and Cheltenham. After a lacklustre showing for the majority of last season, it looked as though Rovers were set for a nervy end to the season, but Grant McCann's side finished the season strongly with a 12-game unbeaten run before ultimately losing to Crewe on penalties in a play-off semi-final. Head-to-head The Spireites have a solid record against Rovers throughout history, winning 35, drawing 31 and losing 29, but you have to go back to early 2005 for our last win against the South Yorkshire outfit when Tcham N'Toya netted the only goal in a 1-0 win at Saltergate.
