Report: Nottingham Forest prepare big offer for player who has now given green light on January transfer

Nottingham Forest are stepping up their efforts to bring new players to the football club ahead of the transfer deadline on Monday night.
Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis wants a new striker. A number of players have been linked with a move to the City Ground and the speculation continues as the deadline gets closer.
Yoane Wisse has been linked with Forest this month. He’s scored 11 times for Brentford this season and it’s hard to imagine that the Reds would be able to complete that deal during the current window.
Another player Forest like is Matheus Cunha. He’s got an uncertain future at Wolves with the 25-year-old stalling over a new contract on Trentside and clubs now monitoring his availability.
It doesn’t appear as though Forest are only keen on a new striker though. Nuno Espirito Santo will want his squad to be reinforced this month and another area of the pitch could get strengthened before Monday.

Douglas Luiz now willing to make Premier League move
According to Bola VIP, Luiz is now willing to return to the Premier League from Juventus this month as he seeks a place in the Brazil national team once again.
Luiz only moved to Turin in the summer, with the Old Lady paying £42.5 million to secure his services from Aston Villa.
However, the player has found it tough with Juventus. He’s made just nine appearances and has subsequently lost his place on the international stage – something that has left him feeling disgruntled.
The report suggests that Manchester City only want to sign Luiz on loan. Forest, however, are now preparing to make a big offer to sign the midfielder on a permanent basis.
Forest aren’t particularly in short supply when it comes to central midfielders. However, with Ibrahim Sangare not yet fit to return perhaps a new number six is on the shortlist.
Luiz would be superb addition to Forest ranks
Forget the Ryan Yates or Nicolas Dominguez argument, if Luiz signs, he could quickly displace both of them in the team and become a mainstay in the Forest eleven.
The Brazilian is a quality player who helped Aston Villa finish in the top four last season. He might fancy a move to City over Forest but if they don’t move before the deadline, it seems he’s open to a City Ground switch.
Luiz was a shock departure from Villa during the summer. What is even more surprising is that he’s already on the move from Juventus with the Serie A giants deeming him surplus.
The 26-year-old is an upgrade on any other number six at Forest and as a result, his arrival would almost certainly be welcomed across the board on Trentside.
