Revealed: Crystal Palace 'concerned' as trio prepare offers for 25-yr-old

Crystal Palace are “very concerned” amid strong interest from European giants in left-back Tyrick Mitchell, sources have told Football Insider.
The 25-year-old is currently out of contract at the end of the 2024-25 campaign and can seal a pre-contract agreement with foreign sides from Wednesday (1 January).
Mitchell has been widely linked with the likes of Atletico Madrid, Barcelona and AC Milan following his emergence from the youth setup at Selhurst Park.
It is believed Palace are doing everything they can to prevent the defender from leaving on a free transfer at the end of this season.
However, the interest will be flattering for Mitchell – who could be hard to persuade if one of the interested clubs firms up their interest with an offer in January.
The defender will have a big decision to make in the new year with his nine-year association with Crystal Palace potentially in danger.
Mitchell has made 23 appearances across all competitions this term, starting in every single game and only failing to play the full 90 minutes on five occasions.

The 25-year-old has notched three assists in the Premier League for Oliver Glasner’s side this season with the Eagles sitting 15th in the table.
He has been the undisputed first-choice left-back since breaking through in the 2020-21 campaign and has now racked up 151 appearances in the English top flight.
The London-born ace signed his last contract extension in 2021.
Crystal Palace also have Will Hughes, Joel Ward, Nathaniel Clyne and Jeffrey Schlupp out of contract at the end of this season.
