MK Dons lead Burton Albion in the chase for Accrington Stanley star Tommy Leigh, reporter Alan Nixon has said on his Patreon.
MK Dons will be playing League Two football again after falling short in the play-offs.
After a strong season under Mike Williamson, the Dons were simply blown away by Crawley Town, who would go on to win their Wembley final to book a place in League One for next season.
It was a pretty crushing outcome for MK, but attention now turns to the summer transfer window as they look to remove all doubt next time around by earning one of the three automatic promotion spots back to the third-tier.
Now, as per reporter Alan Nixon, they’re leading League One opposition in the chase of Tommy Leigh.
The journalist has said on his Patreon that MK Dons could be able to put together a better package for the Accrington Stanley midfielder than Burton Albion, who have been in talks over a deal.
Stanley are keen to reach a resolution as the 24-year-old enters the last year of his contract.
