'I'd jump at the chance' – Nantes keen on Randal Kolo Muani return

Randal Kolo Muani (26) is currently out of favour at Paris Saint-Germain and a January departure looks to be an increasing possibility.
For consecutive Ligue 1 gameweeks, he has been left out of PSG’s matchday squad with Luis Enrique stating that his “decisions speak for themselves”. The France international is attracting interest ahead of the January transfer window. L’Équipe have cited Manchester United and AS Monaco as interested parties. The latter are in the market for a replacement for Folarin Balogun, who will miss four months after undergoing shoulder surgery. A loan replacement is sought, although Adi Hütter admitted that Kolo Muani is not "the cheapest" option.
However, they could face surprise competition from Ligue 1 rivals FC Nantes, who are currently mired in a relegation battle. Kolo Muani came through the ranks with Les Canaris before leaving to join Eintracht Frankfurt in 2022. Speaking at a press conference on Thursday, Antoine Kombouaré evoked the possibility of a return to the Beaujoire for the out-of-favour PSG forward.
“If I’m told that it is possible, I will go and get him. I’ll take the car and do a return journey. I would jump at the chance but it is up to the executives to talk [about it],” said Kombouaré. A return looks unlikely but unsurprisngly, relegation-strugglers Nantes would be open to Kolo Muani’s return.
