According to RMC Sport, Olympique Lyonnais are open to offers for all players within their squad this summer as they look to avoid the prospect of provisional relegation which has been placed upon them by the DNCG. Les Gones have been forced to improve their financial situation or risk demotion to Ligue 2.

Given the Rhône club’s precarious situation, this means every player has their price, including their most prized assets. Rayan Cherki (21) and Malick Fofana (19) are two players who rank highly on that list. Foot Mercato reports that the French playmaker has attracted the interest of multiple clubs including Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain. Cherki is valued at €30m by OL.

Deals in motion

With clubs alert to the opportunity of prizing players away from the Groupama Stadium, movements in the transfer market involving Lyon are already in motion. Fabrizio Romano understands that Hoffenheim are in advanced talks to complete a deal to sign OL striker Gift Orban ahead of the start of the winter window.
