Liverpool fans are saying the same thing about Ryan Gravenberch after 'ridiculous' moment vs Bologna

Liverpool hosted Bologna this evening in the UEFA Champions League, with the Reds once again their usual dominant self at Anfield.

Arne Slot’s first European night on Merseyside, the Dutch coach was in for a treat as Liverpool ran rampant against the Serie A side, with Alexis Mac Allister opening the scoring after a delightful assist from Mohamed Salah.

Once again starting in midfield was Ryan Gravenberch, who this season under Slot has looked like a man reborn, with Jamie Carragher comparing the Dutch international to Premier League legend Patrick Vieira after one performance against Manchester United.

And Liverpool fans on social media were impressed by one moment from Gravenberch against Bologna at Anfield.

Liverpool fans laud Gravenberch after incredible skill vs Bologna

Gravenberch set the tone for Liverpool’s display against Bologna after the former Bayern Munich beat his man early on in the first-half with a fantastic turn, a moment that Red supporters on social media absolutely loved.

Another Liverpool supporter wrote: “Gravenberch you are unreal.”

One Red fan posted on social media: “Gravenberch’s strides are nuts how does he cover so much ground while it feels like he’s jogging.”

Indeed, Gravenberch’s performance certainly caught the eye of many Liverpool fans, with another saying: “I actually can't believe what has happened to Gravenberch. The guy has been a monster this season. He is so so smart. Honestly reckon he's been the best prem midfielder this season.”

Another fan posted: “Ohhh Gravenberch…I see the Sergio Busquets in you.”

Whilst another Liverpool supporter said after Gravenberch’s incredible piece of skill: “That was a sick turn by Gravenberch. Already standing out as the best player on the pitch 3 minutes in.”

Gravenberch is quickly becoming undroppable for Liverpool

Slot has quickly found a role for Gravenberch that has unlocked the midfielder’s full potential already at Liverpool, with the Ajax academy graduate looking like a new player this season.

And after tonight’s performance at Anfield, Gravenberch is quickly becoming one a select few of Liverpool players who are undroppable, with the midfielder looking nothing short of exceptional in Slot’s midfield system.

At 22-years-old, the world is at Gravenberch’s feet at Liverpool, and the youngster will want to keep showing what he’s capable of after a mixed first year with the Reds playing under Jurgen Klopp.
