Liverpool have some injury problems to deal with as they head into a crucial part of their season.

The Reds have had an excellent start in all competitions under Arne Slot, winning 10 out of 11 games so far.

However, the difficulty level is about to be ramped up to ‘extreme’ over the next six weeks as Liverpool contend with a slightly crazy fixture list.

With so many big games coming up between now and Christmas, Slot could do with having a full Liverpool squad to pick from.

But as Jurgen Klopp can attest, having every player available at the same time at Anfield is a very rare thing indeed.

Five players missed Liverpool training on Tuesday as the Reds gear up for a Champions League tie against RB Leipzig. One of those absent was Conor Bradley and a further update has now been issued over the right-back.

Conor Bradley set to miss a few weeks

Bradley has been an important player for Liverpool over the past year or so. Having featured in six out of 11 games this season, he has been well used by Slot.

The 21-year-old is also growing in decisiveness for his country. Bradley captained Northern Ireland over the recent international break and looks set to be his nation’s key player moving forward.

As a result of being handed the armband by Michael O’Neil, Bradley had perhaps hoped to kick on when back at Liverpool.

Unfortunately, though, the youngster picked up a problem somewhere along the way of playing 90 minutes against Belarus and Bulgaria.

That ruled him out of Sunday’s win over Chelsea at Anfield and according to the Liverpool ECHO, that won’t be the only game Bradley is set to miss.

They claim that the defender is ‘expected to miss a few weeks’ with his current injury issue.

With Liverpool in line to play every three or four days up until the November international break, ‘a few weeks’ could mean Bradley ends up missing as many as six matches.

Which games could Conor Bradley miss?

Thankfully, Liverpool are relatively well covered at right-back for the moment.

Obviously, Trent Alexander-Arnold is the first choice and that would not have changed had Bradley been fit. Meanwhile, Joe Gomez can come in and do a job, as he did for the closing minutes against Chelsea.

As a result, Liverpool should be able to allow Bradley to take his time and recover properly. However, one more injury in the back line and Gomez’s ability to multi-task will be stretched once again.

In the meantime, it looks likely that Bradley will miss games against RB Leipzig, Arsenal, two against Brighton, Bayer Leverkusen and Aston Villa.

It remains to be seen whether the Northern Irishman is back to lead his country out once again in the middle of November. But if he is, it will only be good news for Liverpool.
