Watford Head Coach Tom Cleverley said he has belief in every member of his squad after a season which has seen him hand several players greater opportunities on the pitch.

Mattie Pollock, Kwadwo Baah, Giorgi Chakvetadze and Imrân Louza are among the Golden Boys who have been performing well after being given more game-time by the boss.

“I’ve got massive belief in every member of my squad,” Cleverley said.

“If they want to show me that they want to improve, I will do everything I possibly can to help them improve.

“That’s the kind of relationships we have.”

Ryan Andrews, James Morris and Tom Ince have also enjoyed increased opportunities in the side this term, while younger players such as Rocco Vata have been given their chance.

“There’s a lot of detail which goes into what we do,” Cleverley added.

“A lot of work is done through video meetings and analysis.

“Something like changing to a 4-3-3, it’s not as simple as that, so for the players to take that information on board so quickly and really nail the details of a new system, they’ve shown that they can absorb information.

“We’ve got a bright future and the first thing I do with these players is believe in them.

“If they want to work with that potential and belief that I have, I will give them the work back.”
