Leeds United are one of the clubs in the picture to sign Burnley’s Mike Trésor in the winter market.

The attacking midfielder missed the first half of this season due to injury and came off the bench in Burnley’s FA Cup win over Reading earlier this month.

That was his only appearance of this season and Trésor is looking to leave Burnley in this window. That’s according to Voetbal Nieuws, who state Leeds are among the clubs looking to sign him.

Burnley are keen to get rid of the 25-year-old in January in order to recover part of the €18m fee they invested to buy him in 2023, Despite his struggles, he is not short of options.

The Whites, along with Anderlecht, KAA Gent and Ajax, have the Burnley player high on their target list. In fact, the report states Daniel Farke’s side have ‘surprisingly emerged’ as a possible destination for Trésor.

Ajax are in the mix, while the two Jupiler Pro League sides are closely keeping an eye on the Belgium international’s situation. Both Anderlecht and Gent have asked Burnley about his situation and the report states he favours a move to Ajax.

Leeds will have to convince Trésor to continue in the Championship to secure his services.
