Pajaziti makes international debut at Wembley

Fulham midfielder Adrion Pajaziti made his senior international debut at Wembley last night as Albania were beaten 2-0 by England in Thomas Tuchel’s first game as Three Lions boss.

Pajaziti, who was handed his Fulham senior bow by Marco Silva in Fulham’s League Cup success at Birmingham City in 2021, is currently on loan at Croatian side Gorica. The 22 year-old, who has been with the Whites’ academy since the age of twelve, has previously represented Albania and Kosovo at youth level replaced Qazim Laci with twelve minutes of the World Cup qualifier and enjoyed an energetic first senior cap.

Former Fulham defender Dan Burn completed a memorable week by winning his first England cap as Tuchel’s side picked up three points through fine finishes from Arsenal teenager Miles Lewis-Skelly and captain Harry Kane.
