Liverpool have an incredible roster of attacking players at the moment.

Mohamed Salah, is, of course, the Reds' jewel in the crown in an attacking sense, but his four deputies are also incredible too.

Luis Diaz has really come into his own this season. He's been banging in the goals so far, and speaking to Premier League Productions, Jermaine Beckford has been full of praise for the Colombian.

Indeed, Beckford says that if Diaz can maintain his fitness throughout this season he thinks he could emulate Sadio Mane's goalscoring exploits in this Liverpool team.

Luis Diaz could emulate Sadio Mane

Beckford made an exciting prediction about Diaz.

"If he's able to maintiain his fitness throughout this season I could see him doing Sadio Mane's numbers. He has that about him, he's getting better, he's really good in front of goal, his minutes per goal is 72.2 now," Beckford said.

Luis Diaz is a starter

Luis Diaz hasn't had the easiest of times at Liverpool since arriving at the club.

Of course, he's won trophies and he's played brilliantly, but due to injuries and competition for places, he's often been in and out of the team.

However, that's now changed.

Indeed, Diaz now looks like he's one of the first names on the Liverpool teamsheet, and the real battle is now between Darwin Nunez, Diogo Jota and Cody Gakpo for a starting berth through the middle.

Arne Slot has put a lot of trust in Diaz so far, and the winger is quickly repaying that trust.

Diaz now looks ready to go up a level for Liverpool, and it wouldn't be a surprise if he did emulate Sadio Mane and rival Mohamed Salah at the top of the Liverpool goalscoring charts this season.

Diaz could be set to have his best season yet for Liverpool.
