Charlton Athletic and Mansfield Town meet in League One this weekend with both sides looking to find form in the third-tier.
Charlton Athletic come into their clash with Mansfield Town off the back of a decent result last time out, drawing against play-off hopefuls Lincoln City.
It was a decent point for the Addicks, but they need wins and consistent form if they’re going to push towards the top six. It’s been an underwhelming season to date with the South London outfit sat 12th in the League One table coming into this weekend’s games.
Nathan Jones will be demanding a result on home turf against an out-of-form Mansfield Town.
Speaking of the Stags, their strong start to League One life feels like a thing of the past. They’ve slid away from the play-off picture and need to arrest this slide to allay concerns among fans.
Nigel Clough’s side are still in a respectable 10th place, but a run of five consecutive defeats will no doubt have raised fears among fans.

“Charlton Athletic have to win this one. It feels odd to call a game between two current mid-table sides that at this stage of the season a must-win, but it’s an opportunity they can’t pass up.
“The Addicks are on home turf against arguably the worst form side in League One. If they’re to lift themselves up the table and find some much-needed form, they have to win here.
“Mansfield Town should see this as a good opportunity to end their losing run themselves though. Charlton are far from convincing and are definitely there to be beaten.
“However, I’ll say the hosts win this narrowly.”

“Charlton Athletic have won only once in their last eight league games and need to find some form again.
“They have slipped down to 12th in the table and pressure could start to mount on Jones if they don’t win again here.
“Mansfield Town have adapted pretty well to life in League One since their promotion from League Two.
“They have lost their last five in a row though and are winless in their last six.
“This is a good chance for the Addicks to return to winning ways but I think they may be held to a frustrating draw against the Stags.”
