League One duo: 3 players Charlton Athletic must regret losing to this day

Charlton Athletic are hoping to gain promotion from League One to the Championship this season under the guidance of Nathan Jones.
Charlton Athletic drew 2-2 at home to Wrexham last time out in the league. Defender Macaulay Gillesphey and striker Matty Godden scored their goals against the Red Dragons.
The Addicks then backed up that result with a 3-0 win over Chelsea Under-21’s in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy on Tuesday evening. Miles Leaburn scored twice, whilst Tyreece Campbell also got himself on the scoresheet.
Jones’ side face an away trip to Southend United this weekend in the first round of the FA Cup. In the meantime, here is a look at three players who they must regret losing to this day…
Corey Blackett-Taylor
Charlton Athletic lost the 27-year-old to Derby County just over 12 months ago. It was a real blow to see him head out the exit door to Pride Park.
Blackett-Taylor, who has been at Aston Villa and Tranmere Rovers in the past, was a key player for the London outfit. He made 97 appearances in all competitions and scored 20 goals.
George Dobson
The midfielder made the surprise decision to sign a pre-contract agreement with Fehérvár in Hungary. However, that move didn’t happen in the end.
His deal with the Addicks expired in late June and he was subsequently snapped up by Wrexham after their promotion from League Two. The 26-year-old is now playing in the same league again which is a surprise.
Eoghan O’Connell
Like Dobons, O’Connell is also on the books at Wrexham these days. He dropped down two leagues to move to the Racecourse Ground and has since helped the Red Dragons gain back-to-back promotions from the National League to the third tier.
The Irishman is a dependable player for Phil Parkinson’s side and has been an important figure in their backline. He has played 60 games since transferring to Wales and has scored twice from the back.
