Jürgen Klopp to attend Paris FC v Amiens as Red Bull's head of football operations
Today at 10:14 AM
Jürgen Klopp will officially become Red Bull’s head of football operations on January 1, and one of his first official assignments will be to oversee Paris FC’s development. The Ligue 2 side has been taken over by Agache Sport – the Arnault family’s holding – with Red Bull owning a minority share worth 10,6 % of the club. The energy drinks company has been tasked to bring its expertise into the Parisian club, notably in relation to the scouting of young football players.
L’Equipereports this Friday that Klopp will see firsthand the current development at Paris FC and attend the team’s Ligue 2 outing against Amiens SC at Stade Charléty on Saturday, January 11. The former Liverpool manager will briefly visit the French capital, but he won’t get to know Paris FC teams further or discover the club’s facilities.
After a terrific start to the Ligue 2 season, Paris FC have hit a slump. They only won one of their last five Ligue 2 games. Last Saturday, they were dispossessed of the first place in losing to Lorient.
