Richards tells Carragher he’s been texting Liverpool’s Salah

Speaking on UCL Today, the former Manchester City defender revealed that he and Salah have been messaging in recent days, with the pair playing alongside each other during their time together at ACF Fiorentina.

Richards said when asked how he knows Salah: “I was his driver, he didn’t drive in Florence so I did take him to training, of course I know him! He messaged me the other day, I’m not telling you [what he said], he wasn’t talking about you [Carragher], I’ll show you later.”

With Jamie Carragher recently admitting he asked Liverpool for inside information on Salah’s future at Anfield, everyone within the game is keen to find out what exactly is going on with the attacker and his plans beyond this season.

And with Salah winning UEFA’s Man of the Match award last night, Liverpool fans will be hopeful that the 32-year-old forward has made up his mind to remain on Merseyside for the next few years, with the attacker currently in the best form of his life.
