'Innovative' Rangers staffer confirms Auchenhowie exit after 'unforgettable journey' at Ibrox

Rangers continue through a period of executive and backroom restructuring as a US takeover prepares to make sweeping changes.
Andrew Cavenagh and 49ers Enterprises are on the verge of taking over at Ibrox in a seismic US takeover deal that will shake the very foundations of Rangers.
At the same time, Rangers have only just appointed a new CEO in Patrick Stewart and a new chairman in Fraser Thornton, with both expected to be kept on throughout the process.
With the much-publicised Sportsology review going through the club's daily operations with a fine tooth comb, Rangers are also set to appoint a new sporting director.
And that's before the club appoint the 20th permanent Rangers manager, with the likes of Barry Ferguson and Steven Gerrard named amongst the frontrunners.
But before any of that takes place, one of the club's backroom staffers has just announced their exit from the Rangers Training Centre.
Zurab Amirian leaves 'unforgettable'Rangers
Rangers Head of Academy Zurab Amirian has announced his departure from the club's Auchenhowie training centre on LinkedIn.
In a message posted on his official account, Amirian has said goodbye to the club and hailed the 'great people in a beautiful club' that helped him on what he describes as an 'incredible journey'.
The post reads:
"The end of an incredible journey as Head of Academy Football at Rangers, a true rollercoaster of growth, challenges, and unforgettable moments. From day one, I was surrounded by great people in a beautiful club, and I couldn't be more grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the academy.
"This experience has developed me both professionally and personally, pushing me to learn, adapt, and evolve.
"As one chapter closes, new opportunities arise, and I'm excited for what's next. Growth happens outside the comfort zone, and I'm looking forward to embracing the challenges ahead with the same passion and dedication.
"A heartfelt thank you to everyone who was part of this journey. See you on the next one."
Amirian leaves Rangers amid academy reshuffle
Rangers appointed Zurab Amirian as the club's Head of Academy in November 2023 with the former OH Leuven staffer starting his job on the 1st January 2024.
Appointed under the previous regime of academy director Zeb Jacobs, Amirian has continued working at Auchenhowie despite Jacobs' departure for Feyenoord in the summer.
Belgian academy guru Jacob's described Amirian as 'innovative' and 'energetic' following the coach's appointment in Glasgow.
Amirian's exit also comes after Rangers technical director Nils Koppen promised to revamp the Rangers academy.
It remains unclear the direction the Gers will take the Rangers academy but change is certainly on the horizon with the club without an Academy Director since May.
As part of a restructuring, Koppen will be responsible for the club's academy with no plans at present to appoint another individual to a director role.
