Good luck, Renato!
Renato Veiga landed in Turin last night and that made it pretty much official already, but today the formal announcements were made as well, with the 21-year-old completing his temporary switch to Juventus for the rest of the season.
Juve do not have any options or obligations attached to the loan and they are reportedly paying €4+1.5m in loan fees to make this happen. Veiga will be expected to play center back, and do so regularly, something that was not on the cards for him at Chelsea — despite his relatively frequent involvement in the first-half of the season.
Veiga's versatility has been perhaps his most useful trait for us, but he wanted something a bit more defined I guess, so hopefully he can find that at The Old Lady.
Renato Veiga è un nuovo giocatore della Juventus

Benvenuto in ⚪️⚫️!
Juve have not been their usual dominant selves in the last few seasons, and are currently sitting just fifth in the Serie A, despite losing just one (1) of their 22 games thus far. But it's not the defending that's been their problem: they have the division's third best defensive record already. It's the 13 draws, including four 0-0s, that's been the issue. So Veiga might have his job cut out for him to actually break into their first-choice lineups and unseat either Pierre Kalulu or Federico Gatti (Gleison Bremer's out with an ACL, creating the need for another center back in the squad).
Good luck, Renato!
