Therefore, the Liverpool FC winger became the third player to win the accolade a record seven times – emulating England captain Harry Kane and Argentine legend Sergio Aguero.

“Mohamed Salah has won February’s EA SPORTS Player of the Month award, earning the prize for the SEVENTH time to equal the record held by Harry Kane and Sergio Aguero,” a Premier League statement read.

“Salah’s accolade comes following a record-breaking month for the Liverpool star, who led the way in the Premier League in February for goal involvements, with 10.”

The 32-year-old also won the award in November 2017, February 2018, March 2018, October 2021, October 2023 and November 2024.
