Player 'looks set to stay' at Blackburn Rovers – Snubs 3 clubs, and wants Rovers future

Blackburn Rovers’ Arnór Sigurðsson has less than six months left on his contract and his long-term future at Ewood Park remains uncertain.
According to Sweden’s Fotbollskanalen, Djurgården, IFK Norrköping and Malmö FF are all looking to sign the winger in the winter market.
Due to his contract situation, the Blackburn Rovers player can talk to other clubs about a summer switch.
The Iceland international has made seven appearances in all competitions for the English club this season, managing a goal and an assist in the process. He picked up a thigh injury at the start of November and has been on the sidelines since then.
Despite this, Djurgården, IFK Norrköping and Malmö FF are showing keen interest in the 25-year-old. The report states the three clubs contacted him to find out if he’s interested in a transfer and the conditions needed to secure his services.
The attacker isn’t considering changing clubs in January and ‘looks set to stay’ with John Eustace’s side. That’s because he wants to understand what Blackburn Rovers have to say and whether they’ll offer him an extension or receive offers from elsewhere.
