Bolton Wanderers are set to sell Conor Carty to St Patrick’s Athletic, according to a report by The Bolton News.

Bolton Wanderers are poised to cut ties with the striker this winter. His contract with BWFC expires at the end of the season and he is due to become a free agent in the summer.

Carty, 22, made the move to join his current club back in 2022 but he hasn’t been able to break into their first-team. He has dropped back in with the B team over recent months.

In this latest update regarding his future with the Trotters, The Bolton News report he is heading to St Patrick’s Athletic on a permanent basis. They finished 3rd in the League of Ireland in 2024 behind Shelbourne and Shamrock Rovers.

Bolton Wanderers are currently sat in 10th place in the League One table and are four points off the play-offs.
