Hull City plotting winter swoop for Blackpool star

Hull City are targeting a move for 23-year-old Blackpool striker Kyle Joseph this January, according to Football League World.
Hull City are looking set to have a busy January window. HCAFC are out to rectify their awful start to the season under Ruben Selles with a push away from the bottom three needed.
The Tigers are currently in the relegation zone after a disastrous campaign to date. They had the chance to build after a play-off push last season but have failed to do so and now face a fight to stay in the second tier.
The Tigers have already made two additions this window. They have brought in plenty of Championship experience in the permanent signing of Matt Crooks and loanee Joe Gelhardt.
However, they still want more bodies and plenty of work is being done to get them over the line.
According to Football League World, Hull City are taking an interest in Blackpool striker Kyle Joseph. The Tigers are in need of a goalscorer to help push them out of the play-offs and Joseph may be that man.
Chris Bedia was signed in the summer but failed to make his mark with HCAFC. While Joao Pedro was signed and has scored five goals, he cannot be solely relied on to score the goals.
Joseph has eight goals so far this season for Blackpool, who are 16th in League One.
Unfinished business at this level
Joseph has had one season in the Championship already. The 23-year-old has played 10 games at this level after he joined Swansea City from Wigan Athletic in 2021.
The rumoured Hull City target spent the first half of that campaign with the Swans and failed to score before being sent out on loan to Cheltenham Town. Since then he has spent his career in League One, scoring fairly consistently.
Three seasons down the line, Joseph may be getting another crack at Championship football and if a move does come to fruition, he will hope to be the man to propel the Tigers out of the relegation zone.
What next for Hull City?
Hull City face a trip to out-of-form Millwall as they return to Championship action. The Tigers crashed out of the FA Cup last weekend, losing to League Two Doncaster Rovers.
HCAFC will be hoping for a win against the Lions, who are on a downward spiral at the minute. A win would be new boss Selles’ third in his first 10 games.
With tough games against QPR and Sheffield United next up, Hull can ill afford to drop many points.
