Player Swindon Town and Bristol Rovers looked at on trial secures loan move

Cheltenham Town goalkeeper Max Harris has joined Weston-super-Mare on loan following trials at Swindon Town and Bristol Rovers, as announced by their official club website.

Cheltenham Town have let the stopper join the National League South side on a temporary basis again. The Robins were relegated from League One last season after finishing in the bottom four along with Port Vale, Fleetwood Town and Carlisle United.

Harris, 24, still has another year left on his contract with the Gloucestershire outfit running until June 2025 but has been given the green light to head out the exit door. GloucestershireLive reported Swindon Town have had a look in training this summer, whilst Bristol Rovers decided not to land him after they cast their eyes over him.

In this latest update regarding his situation, Weston-super-Mare have announced on their website that he has returned. His parent club were beaten 2-1 away at Walsall over the weekend.
