Massengo heads back to Auxerre

We signed Han-Noah Massengo from Bristol City in the summer of 2023 although he'd spent the second half of the previous season on loan in France with AJ Auxerre.

Having started his career with Monaco, he signed for Bristol City in the summer if 2019 and by the time he moved to Auxerre, he'd played 99 league games for Bristol City.

But game time has been difficult to find at Burnley and he's made just eleven league appearances with only the one at Sunderland this season a start.

To get more time on the pitch, he's returned to Auxerre on loan for the remainder of this season.

We wish him well back in France.
